Charles Tyrwhitt adds a time-tiered 20% code to its 508-line men's sale

Charles Tyrwhitt has layered a time-limited discount code on top of its standing men's clearance, which currently lists 508 reduced products. A banner across the Charles Tyrwhitt sale read "20% Off Until 5pm | Use Code: ACTQUICK" when the page was checked on 9 August, and DealsFirst's tracking records the same code stepping down through the day — 15% until 10pm, then 10% until midnight. No closing date is published for the clearance itself, so the code is the time-sensitive part rather than the markdowns.

The clearance is weighted towards tailoring and formal shirting. Suits are roughly half price, shirts run to around two-thirds off, and separates are cut at a similar rate to the full suits.

Worth it?

The suits are the genuine value: £249 for a full Ultimate Performance two-piece, before the code, is at the low end of what Charles Tyrwhitt charges for that line, and the sharkskin at £294.95 is a bigger absolute saving. Shirts at £24.95 are a good price but not an unusual one — the brand discounts shirting frequently, and the multibuy route lands close to the same figure without a code. The separates are worth a look if you already own a matching piece, since jacket and trouser prices have been cut at the same rate as the full suits. Buy earlier in the day if you are buying at all, and check sizing first: across 508 lines, the common collar and waist sizes in the half-price tailoring go first.
