Heritage china maker Wedgwood has launched its summer sale with up to 50% off, and members of its free My Wedgwood scheme can stack a further 10% with the code EXTRA10. The sale collection spans the core Wonderlust, Renaissance, Jasper and Vera Wang ranges, with most pieces at a straight half price. No end date has been announced.
What's in the sale
Almost everything we checked in the sale collection was exactly 50% off, with the Vera Wang lines at 30%:

The sale collection ran to around fifty lines when we checked, and the 50% rate held across almost all of them, so the two prices shown on each product page are the whole story before the members' code.
How the discount works
Sale prices are as marked in the summer sale collection. The extra layer is the members' code:
Code: EXTRA10, an additional 10% off for My Wedgwood members; joining is free, so the effective top rate is 55% off rather than 50%
Signing up before checkout is worth the two minutes on any order of size, as 10% off a £175 dinnerware set is another £17.50 out of the price.
Worth it?
For Wedgwood at retail, a flat half price plus a stackable members' code is about as strong as the brand's own sales get; the usual alternative is hunting seconds-quality stock at outlet stores. The £12.50 Vera Wang teacup and the £22.50 Jasper tumbler make easy gift buys, while the dinnerware sets carry the biggest absolute savings. The caveat is that formal china moves slowly, so there is rarely urgency on the classic white ranges, but the seasonal and collaboration pieces, once cleared, tend not to return.
