I bought one of these last year at full price and it's brilliant for quick coffees. Dead easy to use, looks smart on the worktop, and the pods are always on offer at Tesco. At £30 it would make a cracking gift as well.

Don't sleep on the garden stuff with GREEN20! I've been pricing up corner sofa sets for the patio and Argos have some decent ones. 20% off garden furniture is solid — most places don't discount outdoor stuff until end of summer when the weather's already gone.

The fact they have a separate GREEN20 code for garden AND the RED codes for everything else means you can do separate orders and save across the board. Smart move from Argos tbh.

Already ordered the Hot Wheels City Mega Car Wash for my son's birthday next month — £25 instead of £50 with RED50! 🎉 That's sorted his main present.

Also spotted the Blink Whole Home Security Kit at £99.99 before RED50. If that really does come down to about £50 for a whole home security system, that's cheaper than a month of some monitoring services!

The under £25 section is worth a browse too — loads of smaller bits for kids' party bags and stocking fillers if you're the type to buy ahead.

Bit gutted there isn't more gaming stuff in the RED50 tier tbh. The gaming section seems to be mostly RED10 which is decent but not spectacular.

That said, the Roku HD Streaming Stick at £24.99 (was £29.99) plus an extra 10% with RED10 brings it down to about £22.50. Not bad for a streaming device.

The Apple AirTag 2nd Gen at £29 with RED10 = £26.10 is worth it if you're in the Apple ecosystem. I use mine on my keys and gym bag — saved me twice already 😂

That Philips I9000 shaver at £549.99 with RED50 bringing it down to roughly £275 is the one that caught my eye. It's got a 5-year warranty and the reviews are excellent (4.5 stars, 350 reviews). It's the prestige model with wet & dry functionality.

For comparison, John Lewis has the same shaver at full price with no discount. This is genuinely the cheapest I've ever seen it.

Also picked up the Philips Sonicare 5300 toothbrush while I was at it. Both with RED50. Philips are cleaning up in this sale (pun intended).
