Quiksilver Sale on Sale: outlet lines cut by up to 63%

Quiksilver has launched a "Sale on Sale" event advertising an extra 25% off its entire outlet, and the Quiksilver sale currently lists close to 1,300 reduced lines with prices running from £5.00 to £246.00. The reductions span menswear, boys', women's, surf and snow, and the badges on the grid cluster in two bands — a broad tier at 40% off and a deeper one at around 63%. No closing date has been published and no code is required.

Worth it?

This is a stronger event than the retailer's routine outlet pricing, mainly because of how far the top band goes: a £140 waterproof jacket at £52.50 and a £40 backpack at £15 are the kind of reductions Quiksilver usually reserves for end-of-season clearouts. The basic tees are less compelling — £13.20 for a logo T-shirt at 40% off is close to what the outlet carries year-round, so it is worth filtering to the deeper band rather than browsing the default grid. Accessories are the most reliable category to buy from, since wallets, caps and belts carry the top discount band without the sizing problem that affects the clothing — and sizing is the main risk here, with the size runs on the sharpest lines already down to a handful of units.
